"We occasionally use egg whites to fine some our lots and those lots will end up in our main blends. While I feel that the subsequent racking process likely removes that from the wine, I have told people who are allergic to egg that I cannot guarantee there is literally zero residual. In this regard, I view my wines as in the same state as most of the great wines of Bordeaux and other areas of Europe which have been using this natural process for many years."
