Company email (August 2024)
"About a year ago we decided we were going to try to move all of our beers to being vegan friendly. To do that we needed to perform multiple tests on each beer to optimise the levels of (vegan) finings we were using and we ended up with mixed results. Some beers had the clarity and presentation that we were after while others refused to behave as we hoped. Some of our beers are therefore suitable for vegans and some are not.

(Evening Star) Revival
all of our dark beers

Not vegan friendly cask beers
anything pale and hoppy

Our keg products are all vegan friendly except for the persistent squirrel and camraa. Both of those use cocoa powder that's been processed in a factory that also processes milk powder so it's possible there could be minute amounts of cross contamination."
