"We currently use isinglass finings which as you know is a fish derived product in order to clear the final product. It is a filtration aid rather than an ingredient and will settle out of the final product - especially in the case of our bottles which are all sterile filtered - but still it is there so we do not class our beer as vegan for this reason.

The only exception are our mini kegs which are not fined and therefore are vegan friendly. These are available directly from the brewery.

We are looking at vegan friendly alternatives at the moment so this may change in the future so that all our beer is vegan friendly.

Our beer is not produced under license at all, we brew every single drop here in Penygroes."
