Company email (July 2019)
"Our core range of Tropical Pale Ale, Thornbury Pilsner and New World IPA are vegan.

"Our Juicy IPA (and single hop/fruit variations) are vegan.

"Our Wild Ravens and Nat Rav are vegan with the exception of one made with red gum honey.

"Our Acid Original Sour Beer (and variations) are soured with a specific lactic acid culture that is grown on lactose (as with most lactic acid bacteria) - though none is added. The culture makes up less than 0.01% of the beer.

"Our Shake range of Milkshake IPA's are brewed with lactose and therefore not vegan. We are trialling some alternatives to lactose and will always label these one way or the other (vegan/contains lactose).

"Our other limited release and specialty beers are generally vegan - the only exception being when we use lactose (in which case the beer will generally have "milk" in the name or explicity state on the label - all of our labels now include an ingredients list). We don't use any other animal products at our brewery as ingredients or process aids."

Company email (April 2019)
"[Acid Sour] may contain traces of dairy."

Company email (August 2018)
"Most of our beers are indeed vegan (we’ve started including this on labels for transparency), though the critical ingredient (and namesake) for the Milkshake IPA series is lactose (milk derived sugar) so is not vegan nor suitable for lactose intolerant."

Company email (August 2018)
"Juicy is definitely vegan friendly."

Update (circa 2008)
Neil says "The brewer has confirmed that no animal products, including honey, are contained in their beer. They said they use cardboard as part of their filtration process, so again, no animal products."
