Company email (April 2011):
"None of the cask ales are suitable for vegans as they contain the isinglass finings but all my bottled beers are suitable although I don't know how you will get hold of them as I can't do a postal service. If you have alocal beer shop maybe you could ask them if they can stock my beers ... just a thought."
Company email (May 2010):
"...Anyway, back to the beer: unfortunately because there is not yet a viable alternative to isinglass finings for cask beer I still use this for my cask beer that goes out to the pubs and beer festivals etc. However, I'm proud to report that all of my bottled beer is bottled straight from the fermenter with nothing 'animal derived' added or used in the process at all so it is all suitable for vegans and yeast settles naturally to the bottom of the bottle. The labels state 'suitable for vegetarians' but I should really get this changed at some point to 'suitable for vegans'."
