Company email (March 2024)
"Draught Beer:
Most of our draught beers are cleared using isinglass finings and therefore are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
However there is one exception : Chiltern Black is not filtered in this way and is vegetarian and vegan.

Bottled Beer:

Again, several are unsuitable for vegetarians & vegans as they contain isinglass finings, with the following exceptions:
Bodgers Barley Wine, Lord Lieutenants Cream Porter, Three Hundred's Reserve.
Glad Tidings Winter stout is vegetarian but not vegan, as it contains lactose.

Canned Beer:
Our canned range is processed by a company that uses vegetarian finings, and is therefore suitable for vegetarians and vegans:
Session IPA, Chiltern Black, Chiltern Lager, Barely There."

Company email (July 2017)
"Most of our draught beers are cleared using isinglass finings that come from fish products and therefore are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

"However there is one exception : Chiltern Black is not filtered in this way and is vegetarian and vegan.

"...several [bottled beers] are unsuitable for vegetarians & vegans as they contain isinglass finings, but a few are “bottle-conditioned” and not cleared using this method:

"Bodgers Barley Wine, Lord Lieutenants Cream Porter, Black IPA & White IPA are all suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

"Glad Tidings Winter Stout (seasonal availability) is vegetarian, but not suitable for vegans as it contains lactose.

"None of our beers are manufactured or bottled anywhere else in the world using any other methods."
