"Thanks for reaching out about the beers produced by Wild Ride Brewing. This is a difficult question, as the interpretation can sometimes get blurred. We are happy to tell you what is used in our beers and you can determine if our beers are vegan. The reason for this is one of the main components of beer or any alcohol is yeast. Yeast is a single cell organism that uses the sugars we create, by mixing water and malted barley, and converts the sugars to alcohol and carbon dioxide. These single cell organisms do all the hard work for us, but unfortunately many of these cells die in the process and are discarded after use. If you are ok with the use of yeast, all of our materials are friendly for vegans unless otherwise stated. The reason I would say unless otherwise stated, is we do make a honey cream ale that states 'Honey Cream Ale.' In addition to the four main components in beer; water, malted barley, hops, and yeast, we use the following: calcium sulfate, carrageenan, silicic acid, diatomaceous earth, fruits, herbs, spices, vegetables"
"I hope this helps answer your questions about the beer produced by Wild Ride Brewing. We want to be open about the beer we produce, as we take pride in what we do and want other to know they can trust in what they are consuming from Wild Ride Brewing.
"Finally, all of our beers are brewed and bottled at the Wild Ride Brewing facility in downtown Redmond, OR."
