Company email (February 2016):
"I can assure you that our organic wines, i.e. Mother's Choice, Our Daily Red (and the soon-to-be-released Our Daily Chardonnay, Cabernet and Zinfandel), and Well ReAd are 100% Vegan and come entirely from our farmers who farm organically.
"As for the Kings Stag, because part of that wine was crushed at another winery, I don't have access to their cellar records so I cannot definitively say that they were produced without any of those winemaking tools. I sincerely doubt that they were used (knowing the winery and how they make their wine), but without access to those records, I'd hate to make a claim that I cannot unequivocally support."
Alicia notes (February 2016):
"They never responded to my e-mail so i decided to just give them a call. They confirmed that their King Stag wine, except for Cabaret Blanc, and Storyteller Wine Co. are 100% vegan. This winery is Winepress Vinters in Graton, Ca. They do not use any gelatin or eggs or any animal products of that kind. They use Diatomaceous Earth to fine the wine and not fish proteins."
Company email (November 2013): re: Dieselpunk
"While we do not use any animal ingredients to produce our beer, it is not certified as vegan. Also, it is 100% made in the USA."
Company email (June 2013):
"Thank you for contacting us regarding Grandmaster wines. While we do not use any animal ingredients to produce our wine, it is not certified as vegan. Although we never use animal ingredients as a rule, we do source from different production partners and consequently cannot absolutely guarantee that none of our partners’ juice has been produced with certifiably vegan methodology."
Company email (May 2013):
"Thank you for contacting us regarding Parker’s Estate Wines. While we do not use any animal ingredients to produce Parker’s Estate wines, they are not certified as vegan. Parker’s Estate wines are not manufactured elsewhere in the world, they are processed and bottled in Sonoma, California."
