Company email (February 2020)

"I hereby confirm that Brennivin does not contain any animal ingredients nor do we use any animal products in the processing of it."

Company email (October 2017)
"We do not use any animal products for our beer production, not gelatin etc and no honey. So all of our beers can be considered vegan.

"We do not have any production elsewhere so no sub licencies.

"Our micro brewery portfolio (Borg brugghús) does include a yearly relaease of mead (different names for example „Kvasir“, „Fjalar“ and „Galar“). Mead is not considered beer but it is a honeyvine. So our mead contains honey. The mead is clearly labelled as mead."

Company email (October 2017)
"We don´t use any animal products during our production, such as isinglass or gelatin. So all our beers can be considered suitable for vegans (Ölgerdin and Borg)."

Company email (August 2016):

"I happily confirm that we do not use gelatin or isinglass for Úlfrún, in fact we don’t use it for any of our products anymore."

Company email (June 2015):
"Garún and Sólveig do not contain any animal ingredients. We have put over 40 different brews on market though and in some of them we use gelatin in filtering, two of them are meads from honey, and so on..."
