Company email (February 2015):
"I’m happy to report that all Invercargill Brewery products are now Vegan friendly – the brewery discontinued the use of Isinglass in filtration after its move to new premises at 72 Leet Street Invercargill last year – but forgot to tell anyone.
So far they’re using up old label stocks – so only Pitch Black has a vegan friendly label, with B.man being printed soon. Stanley Green & Wasp labels will still say they contain Isinglass finings for a bit longer, but actually they don’t and the beer hasn’t for over 12 months.
We think our beer is better than ever now.
Invercargill Brewery beer is brewed at our premises at 72 Leet Street."

Company email (September 2011):
"At present all beers brewed at Invercargill Brewery contain islinglass."

Company email:
"None of our products are suitable for vegans. Our products are not manufactured anywhere else."
