Company email (July 2014):
"Currently Hillside is not using any animal-based products, such as isinglass or gelatine in our winemaking process. However, we do use commercial preparations of yeasts and enzymes and do not require our suppliers to certify vegan suitability.

For this reason, we are unable to make any such claims ourselves."
