Company email (May 2019)
"Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that our cider is Vegan friendly. We are working towards the standards we need to defiantly say that our products are or are not vegan friendly."
Company email (October 2018)
"All our Anning's Fruit ciders, our vintage dry cider and scrumpy cider are all Vegan friendly.
"Our full range of fruit wines are also vegan friendly.
"Our liqueurs are vegan friendly, apart from the Honey - this depends on your view on the harvesting of honey. This will also include all our meads - which contains honey.
"And due to the fining agent used for our English wine range, these are currently not vegan friendly."
Company email (June 2016) re Highland Wineries Moniack Mead:
[Q: Is Moniack Mead suitable for vegetarians?] "It is indeed!" [But still contains honey]
Company email (July 2013):
"Thank you for your enquiry, all of our Lyme Bay products are suitable for Vegans with the exception of our cream liqueurs and our meads. As for the Otter Ale products it is probably best if you contact them or maybe have a look at their website as we are unsure of their exact contents"
Company email:
"Below I have compiled you a list of products NOT suitable for Vegans.
WINES
Mead Wine (all of them)
Cherry Wine
LIQUEURS
Whisky Mead
Cherry Brandy
Cream Liqueurs (all of them)
PRESERVES

And everything else you see in our range is suitable for Vegans."
