Llangollen Grange No. 1 (bottled) is Vegan Friendly

"All our cask products do use Izinglass for the pub trade. Our bottles on the other hand are bottle conditioned, they contain no izinglass. The hand botteling station on site is away from where we fill the casks for pubs (seperate building) The Izinglass is substituted for a small amount of sugar in the cask, which then creates a second fermentation when it ends up in the bottle. There would be no chance of Izinglass getting in to the bottled beers as when we fill casks to bottle with, we use the entire fermentor, and there is no Izinglass in the building at the time, because when it's not in use, it must be kept under refrigirated conditions.

To summarise, sorry for dragging it out a bit! Our bottled conditioned beers contain some yeast in them but are suitable for vegans."
