"I’m thrilled to hear that you are interested in our sake! The quick answer to your question is NO, we do not use any animal products in our sake. The ingredients are just rice, water, yeast, and koji (our malted rice made with a special mold: https://www.foodandwine.com/what-is-koji-8651123).

"And no we do not filter with any animal products. We use a plate filter press and have some cloth microfilters on hand if needed. And that’s about it."
