"All @LighthouseBeer brews are vegan friendly."
Company email (February 2017)
"The brewers have told me that we use no animal products in our beer and we do all of our manufacturing on site."
Mack notes (February 2017)
"I spoke with an employee this morning in house and they now have a centrifuge (since october 2016) and no longer use the traditional fining agents."
Company email (January 2015):
"At the moment our beer is not vegan, as we use gelatin to clear all our beers in tank, including Numbskull and Shipwreck. The gelatin is filtered out previous to packaging so there will not be any present, but I understand that is not the point. This year we are investing in an upgraded facility that will include tank upgrade and will allow us to explore new methods that will do away with finings. Stay tuned."
Company email:
Hi there, unfortunately we use gelatin in our filtering process. It does not stay in the beer, however it is a byproduct of the brewing process.
