Products by The Alementary Brewing Co:

Company email (September 2017)
"There are no animal products used in the production of our beer."

Company email (May 2016)

"None of our current products contain any animal ingredients. If any product did, it would be noted prominently. The most likely culprit would be honey, but like I say, we aren’t using it as of now but instead prefer to use flaked rice for highly fermentable sugars.

"We also do not use any animal products for fining or filtration—we don’t fine or filter at all, actually. We do use a product called ClarityFerm in a few of our beers, but that it an enzyme product that is made from a fungus. The spec sheet can be found here: https://www.whitelabs.com/sites/default/files/Clarity%20Ferm%20Spec%20Sheet.pdf

"ClarityFerm reduces “chill haze” and increases shelf stability, but also reduces the overall amount of gluten in the beers. We can’t/don’t market as “gluten free”, however."
