"I just went to the tasting room of Retzlaff Winery in Livermore, CA, and I asked one of the owners if any of their wines are vegan, and her response was a definitive "No". She said that their wines are organic but not vegan."

"Our wines are made from our certified organic vineyard (Certified California Organic Farmer CCOF). We do not use animal ingredients in the making of our wines. Our wines do contain added sulfites and thus are not organic, by the current rules"
