Joda notes (May 2016):
"We were just at Hall winery in Napa and spoke with them about their wines. There was a mix-up with some past emails. Apparently ALL of their wines are vegan. They use very high-tech production methods and the only fining agent they ever use is bentonite clay. This includes their Sauv Blanc"

Company email (March 2016):
"...we confirmed with our Director of Winemaking, Steve Leveque, that all our wines, with the only exception of HALL Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc and HALL T-Bar T Ranch Sauvignon Blanc are vegan friendly. This is important to us as our Founder, Craig Hall is vegan."

[on followup]

" I confirmed with Steve that we are free of any animal ingredients and we don’t bottle elsewhere. And he corrected me that it is only our Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc that receives a small amount of isinglass."

[and then regarding WALT]

"all of our WALT wines and all of our HALL wines (with the exception of Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc – as Moret mentioned) are free of any animal ingredients and are all made on site here in St. Helena."

Company email (November 2013):
"Our WALT wines are not considered vegan and we manufacture all of our wines in-house at our family facility in the Napa Valley."
